A Voice for California Roofing Contractors

Since 1949, RCAC has represented the interests of California roofing contractors in Sacramento. The association works to ensure the perspective of the roofing industry is represented in legislative, regulatory and business matters that affect contractors, employees and customers.

Representing the Industry

Roofing Needs a Seat at the Table

California roofing contractors operate in a complex legislative and regulatory environment. Decisions made at the state level can affect workplace requirements, business operations, construction standards and the cost of doing business.

Advocacy has been central to RCAC’s mission since the association was founded. RCAC helps connect contractors with government and provides resources that help members better understand the legislative and regulatory process.

Issues affecting contractors may include:

Labor and employment requirements
Workplace safety and Cal/OSHA standards
Workers’ compensation
Construction and fire standards
State regulatory requirements
