This is an online/live auction. Online bidding will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017. The live auction will take place at the reception following the RCAC Golf Tournament at Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa on Friday, August 4, 2017. The live auctioneer will be provided with the online bid results, but no other attendees will be informed of the online bids.
The live auctioneer will start the bidding at the item’s minimum bid price, and will increase in increments of $25 (or lesser increments at the auctioneer’s discretion) until either a live bidder or the highest online bidder wins the item. In cases of a tie between two online bidders, the first bid received will win the item. In cases of a tie between a live bidder and the highest online bidder, the live bidder will win the auction.
Highest online bidders may win an item with a price lower than their maximum bid amount if a lower bid is sufficient to beat all live bids.
Online bidders who ultimately win an item will be contacted by phone and email, and must provide payment details within 48 hours of contact. Failure to provide payment details within 48 hours will result in the item being awarded to the next highest bidder.
All losing online bidders will be notified by email.
Auction items will be mailed USPS first-class mail, with postal insurance, to winning online bidders. Items will be provided in person to live winners at the RCAC Golf Tournament reception.
