Harassment Prevention Training

As you may know by now, harassment prevention training for all employers with 5 or more employees became mandatory on January 1, 2020.

To comply, employers must:

• Provide non-supervisory employees with one hour of training every two years or within six (6) months of promotion or hire

Pursuant to this law, RCAC has available a Harassment Training Prevention program for members, which includes:

• A limited number of free online trainings
• Additional trainings at a deep discount from market rate training
Both the supervisor and employee trainings will be available in English and Spanish.

You can conveniently access our RCAC Harassment Training Prevention program here.

Who is RCAC?

Founded in 1949 as a link between local roofing contractors and the state legislature, RCAC serves its membership under the same mission:

RCAC is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) professional organization dedicated to the protection and advancement of the California roofing industry in legislative, regulatory and business affairs.

As your voice in Sacramento, CA, RCAC fights for the best interests of

roofing contractors and the unique circumstances inherent to our industry. Workers’ compensation reform and relief, Proposition 65 settlements, labor laws and new fire standards are just a few of the many issues RCAC addresses before the state legislature each year in Sacramento. Understanding your business and the problems local contractors face is what RCAC prides itself on, with a bottom line of protecting the best interests of the industry.

RCAC provides effective legislative advocacy and serves as the professional statewide organization for all roofing contractors in California. Benefits of membership include legislative advocacy, newsletters, industry and regulatory information, and links to other California roofing contractors.

The RCAC board of directors is representative of small and large

employers, union and open-shop contractors, from all parts of the Golden State. Under the strong leadership of 13 board members, RCAC staff administers the benefits of the association and coordinates the efforts of the board of directors. Board members sit on a variety of committees touching upon the diverse needs of RCAC members including government affairs, membership, golf tournament, Web site and information technology committees.
